The Show
As marginalized students in college, namely at a private white
institution (PWI), these childhood best friends have come from
the suburbs in search of success, glamour, and fun. So far,
they’ve only found the latter. The specific challenges of being
Black and/or queer in a PWI can create a rift between those who experience those identities and those who don’t.

Alice is a content producer and founder of ASHY Production Studios. Under ASHY, Alice has produces short films, web series and television projects. Alice enjoys collaborating with writers to help further develop their stories. Alice established her Production Company, ASHY Production Studios as a place for emerging artists to develop and produce their stories. Alice is an alumnus of Chatham University and the New York Film Academy Producing Program
Reece Borden
Writer/ Creator
Reece Borden (creator) is a screenwriter, director, and actor. A recent graduate of NYU’s
Gallatin school and NYFA’s screenwriting program, they directed a short film and episodes of a web series. They collaborated with Jake Wieners on “The First Slice,” a short-form podcast show for Meet Cute. Reece is a Texan living in Brooklyn which means they’re always on the hunt for the best breakfast tacos in the city.
